Weekly Overview |
|
Parents & Coaches,
We want to thank you all for a great first week of Flag Football! We also want to give a special thank you to all of the coaches around the league for their time, energy, and dedication. They are the reason we’re able to create such a fun and positive experience for everyone involved. We appreciate all that you do and look forward to an amazing season ahead! |

Game Schedules & Reminders |
|
We also want to thank everyone for their flexibility this week in our New Hampshire leagues! We had some lower numbers in a few divisions, but instead of forfeiting games, we were able to work together and schedule makeups. At the end of the day, our goal is simple - we want the kids to play as much flag football as possible! Thank you all for helping us make that happen.

Play Development Focus |
|
One of the last things we ever want to see in our league is teams getting blown out. This is a recreational league where the focus is on development, learning, and having fun — scores do not determine playoff seeding, as seeding is based on strength of schedule.
If a game becomes a blowout, coaches must meet with the referees to adjust the remainder of the game in a positive way. The losing team will choose what they would like to work on. For example, if they want to focus on offense, the opposing team will play defense against them while the clock continues to run.
Referees must remain on the field during this time to help facilitate play and keep the environment positive and productive for all athletes. Our goal is always to make sure every child continues learning, competing, and enjoying the game. |
