Pre-Game Equipment Checks
All players must have a mouth guard, shirts tucked in, and flag belts secured tightly on their hips before the start of the game.
Game Balls (Division-Specific)
K–1 uses the Red NFL Flag Ball. 2–3 uses the Blue NFL Flag Ball. 4–5 uses the Brown or White NFL Flag Ball. 6–8 uses the Brown or White NFL Flag Ball.
Coaches must use the ball for their division. They may choose to go up one size but never down. For example, 2–3 cannot use the Red Ball but could use the Brown Ball.
Gameplay Modifications
K–1 Division
Defenders must line up at least five yards from the line of scrimmage before the snap. If the ball is on or inside the five-yard line, the distance reduces to three yards.
Defenders may not rush the passer unless a legal handoff occurs in the backfield.
2–3 Division
“No Run Zones” are eliminated, and teams may run anywhere on the field. Defenders may not rush the passer unless a legal handoff occurs in the backfield. One coach for each team is permitted on the field pre-snap to help their players but must be off the field before the snap of the ball. |
